Constantly having to hear people (even his own family members) tell him he’d never amount to anything made him that much more motivated to succeed in life—and succeed he did, eventually becoming the VP of operations at Walmart. But he still had to confront the wounds of his past—and he still had to learn that no matter how motivated or driven you might be, there’s more to life than “winning.” Ron, who just published his memoir Unstoppable Grace, talks with Nate Dewberry about how he’s navigated both the agonies and triumphs of his incredible life story. And he shares lessons he’s learned along the way about leadership, dealing with trauma, and learning to see yourself not as the person your worst detractors say you are, but as the person God knows you to be.
